Hello, I’m Maria

I’ve loved to paint for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a child growing up in Ireland, art has been my favorite way to slow down and really look at the world.

But for a long time, life took other turns. Between the demands of parenting, a debilitating back injury, and the heavy fog of postpartum depression, I lost touch with that creative spark for a while. When I picked up my brush again, it wasn't just a hobby—it was a lifeline. Painting pulled me back to myself, reminding me of the quiet joy of creation and giving me a sense of peace when I needed it most.

Today, I paint because I realized this isn't just something I love to do—it is what I want to do.

My work is a celebration of the everyday wonders we often walk right past. Working primarily in acrylics and watercolors, I love capturing the intricate details of nature: the alert posture of a kestrel, the delicate architecture of a wildflower, or the quiet grace of a bird in flight. My goal is to bring a little piece of that natural tranquility into your home, reminding you to pause and notice the beauty around us.

Thank you so much for being here and supporting my journey.
